Carla Rebecca Rushing (stage name Cody Lane) was born on November 28, 1986, in Louisville, Kentucky.
On December 16, 2020, while crossing the street near her home, she was struck by a careless driver (described in some sources as a drunk driver). Severely injured, Rushing was taken to the hospital, remained in critical condition, and fell into a coma.
Approximately three and a half weeks later, on January 9, 2021, at 10:37 a.m., she died at the age of 34 from injuries related to the crash.
She had worked in the adult film industry under the name Cody Lane from 2006 to 2017.
